Mission in Life!

“There is one way for you to know whether you have fulfilled your mission on Earth: If you’re still alive it’s because you haven’t fulfilled it yet.”

Many of us give it a thought. At least, I am regularly haunted by this question. What am I sent on this Earth for? Well, the above quote says it all. I will cease to be on this earth once I served the purpose of my creation. Of course, apart from fulfilling the purpose, there is a time limit as well. Every test has to be taken for some fixed duration of time.

Here, I would like to quote a sher from a ghazal by Mughal Emperor Poet - Bahadur Shah Zafar. It goes like this -

na kisii kii aa.Nkh kaa nuur huu.N na kisii ke dil kaa qaraar huu.N
jo kisii ke kaam na aa sake mai.n vo ek Musht-e-Ghubaar huu.N

Qaraar - Peace/Harmony
Musht-e-Ghubaar - Fistful of dust

I never want to lament my life in this way. I wish God answers this supplication from a sinful servant.

Hmm...somethings are so difficult to comprehend or explain...

And those haunting lyrics...I guess the full meaning of the ghazal can only be understood if we consider the historical perspective of the times in which Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last mughal emperor lived & both his symolism and presence in that age and also the fact that he was unable to use his position and that the glorious past of the Mughals too vanished into oblivion before his very eyes...these very relections make it haunting and full of pathoes...

Well ,Qais , that still leaves us with that haunting question-
What is the purpouse of Life, Why is it that we live, for what reason ,and for what cause?Why...
For sure, this is not at all easy to figure out, and many have innumerable persons of wisdom and understanding have tried...

So when we have exhausted so many theories and still not got fully satisfied with them, why not another perspective..here's one that explains this beyond doubt, and conclusively:-
